Mobile Engineer (React Native / Flutter)

Ship consumer apps with analytics and offline-first patterns · Remote (EU timezones)

About the role

We build consumer-facing apps where reliability and clarity matter: onboarding, subscriptions, and day-to-day use on spotty networks. You'll ship with React Native and/or Flutter, wire in product analytics, and design sync and caching so the app stays usable when connectivity drops.

What you'll do

  • Implement features across iOS and Android from shared codebases (React Native and/or Flutter).
  • Instrument key funnels and events; work with product to interpret data without drowning in noise.
  • Apply offline-first patterns: local persistence, conflict handling, and clear sync states in the UI.
  • Collaborate on app store releases, crash triage, and performance budgets.

Stack & themes

Projects vary, we pick the framework that fits the client's team and timeline. Deep skill in one cross-platform stack plus willingness to learn the other is ideal.

React Native Flutter Analytics Offline / sync

Interview process

  1. Intro: your background and apps you've shipped to stores.
  2. Technical: architecture, state management, and a past mobile bug or perf win.
  3. Team: how you collaborate with design and backend.

Requirements

  • 3+ years shipping mobile apps to production (consumer or prosumer).
  • Strong experience with React Native or Flutter; interest in both is a plus.
  • Comfort integrating analytics (e.g. Segment, Firebase, or similar) and reasoning about event design.
  • Practical experience with local storage, sync, or background tasks where relevant.
  • EU-friendly hours for standups and releases.

Nice to have

  • Native module work (Swift/Kotlin) when the abstraction leaks.
  • CI for mobile builds and TestFlight / Play internal tracks.

What we offer

Competitive compensation, hardware budget where needed, and a team that values stable releases over heroics.
